To the Schwarzsee (Black Lake)
Starting at the end of the village Santa Maddalena, follow the signpost 12, continuing upwards through the Pfoital valley until you get to the edge of the forest. If you keep going straight ahead, you’ll reach the Pfoialm mountain pasture (2,134m up). Continue uphill following signpost 13, and take the steep incline to 2,539m. From here, you’ll walk downhill again, reaching the lake (2,455m) in just a few minutes.
